| About me | The child came to Salaam Baalak Trust in 2001. She belongs to a very poor family from Faridabad, Haryana. The child was living with her parents and her other siblings. They had a large family and the father was working as a cobbler. He was badly addicted to alcohol and would spend all his earnings on it Her father expired in 2004 and mother use to run the family of 6 members with her little wages. She had no source of any extra income as she was illiterate and also unable to fulfill the basic needs of her child including education. She came in contact with Salaam Baalak Trust with the help of childline and presently staying in Arushi Shelter home of Salaam Baalak Trust. She is a brilliant student and has been enrolled in class 8th of Anantam Public School (English Medium), Gurgaon. |
